If you employ 50 or more people in the EU, an internal reporting channel is no longer optional.

Directive (EU) 2019/1937 requires a confidential channel, acknowledgement within 7 days and feedback within 3 months. A shared inbox doesn't meet that standard. Intake does, out of the box.

50+employees is the threshold at which the Directive applies to private companies
7 daysto acknowledge a report. Intake shows "Acknowledgement overdue" on the case list the moment you miss it.
3 monthsto provide feedback. Intake tracks the deadline on every case and keeps follow-up on record.
How it works

From sign-up to your first report in four steps.

There is no onboarding call and no implementation project. Most teams finish before their coffee gets cold.

Why not just use email?

Most companies already “have a channel”. Few of them would survive an audit.

Security & privacy

The channel only works if people trust it.

  • Anonymous reporting without an account. Reporters can submit concerns completely anonymously or identified. No login credentials, personal email, or employee account required.
  • Role-based access control. Admin, Case manager, and Investigator roles enforce least-privilege access across your organization.
  • Per-tenant workspace isolation. Each organization operates in its own workspace. Cases, categories, and settings are strictly partitioned.
  • Complete audit trail. Every assignment, status transition, and internal note is recorded with timestamps and actor details.

Questions

Things compliance teams ask before they sign up.

Something else? Email hello@laatweet.com and a human replies within one working day.

Does Laatweet meet the EU Whistleblowing Directive on its own?+

Laatweet provides the technical channel the Directive requires: confidential and anonymous reporting, automatic 7-day acknowledgement and 3-month feedback deadline tracking, role-restricted access, and a complete audit trail. Organisations still need an internal whistleblowing policy and designated impartial recipients.

Which channels can reporters use?+

Reporters can submit concerns via Web, Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and Phone. Each channel can be enabled or disabled independently in your workspace settings.

How does an anonymous reporter follow up?+

When a report is submitted, the reporter receives a private case reference (e.g. CASE-2026-0012). They can visit the "Check on a report" page at any time with their reference to read updates and exchange messages with your team without creating an account.

Can we customise categories and the questions we ask?+

Yes. You can manage reporting categories with default severities and assignees, and use the category form builder to define custom short-text, long-text, and required fields.

Can we put our own logo on the report page?+

Yes. Branding settings allow you to upload your company logo, customize portal titles, and present a white-labeled reporting portal to your employees.

Where is our data hosted and how is it protected?+

Data is isolated per workspace tenant with role-based access control (Admin, Case manager, Investigator). Access to reports is restricted strictly to designated personnel, and all case actions are logged.

Can we test it before telling employees?+

Yes. Your trial workspace comes with a private report link. You can submit test reports, try triage and two-way messaging, and only share the link when your team is ready.

What if we need more enterprise workflows later?+

You can easily scale up to full enterprise case management when you need multi-entity hierarchies, advanced investigation workflows, and enterprise HRIS integrations. All your existing cases, messages, and audit history carry over seamlessly with the same login.

Your reporting channel can be live before the end of the day.

Create your workspace, get your report link, and give your employees a safe way to speak up. Free for 14 days, then from €49 a month.
